IRPA congratulates departing RUPA CEO

Greg Harris appointed CEO of NSW Waratahs

IRPA would like to extend its sincere gratitude and best wishes to former RUPA CEO Greg Harris on the announcement of his appointment to Chief Executive of NSW Waratahs.  During his term at RUPA he has been a strong advocate for player welfare and his contribution to IRPA and his insights into the global issues facing the game have been extremely valuable.

IRPA welcomes the appointment of Ross Xenos as RUPA CEO and looks forward to continuing the strong working relationship already in place.  As always, the strategic input from RUPA and its members is of immense value to IRPA in the continuing development of our player centric approach to international issues of importance to the game.

IRPA Executive Director, Rob Nichol:
“From an international perspective we have appreciated Greg’s strategic input, passion for player welfare and desire to promote the game. This, combined with a sharp wit and great sense of humour will mean he will be missed by everyone on the IRPA Board. It is great to see Greg remaining within the rugby fraternity and no doubt he will bring his vast experience and knowledge to his new position.

On behalf of professional players worldwide we wish him all the best as he re-joins the administrative ranks, and takes charge at the NSW Waratahs.  We would like to extend our congratulations to Ross Xenos on his appointment as RUPA CEO and we look forward to continuing and building on our excellent relationship
