Wade does the double at RPA Awards

London Wasps’ Christian Wade completed a memorable double at the 15th annual RPA Computacenter Players’ Awards. The Wasps’ winger became the first player to be crowned both Computacenter Players’ Player of the Year and LV= Young Player of the Year, as voted for by his fellow Aviva Premiership players. Only Jonny Wilkinson has won both awards before and these were in separate years, 1999 and 2003.
Wade, who finished joint top try scorer in the Aviva Premiership alongside Wasps’ team-mate Tom Varndell, is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in English rugby.
