RPA Statement: Wasps
The RPA is extremely saddened to hear of the administration of Wasps Holdings Limited and immediate redundancies of all staff. Our thoughts are with all the players and staff on this sad day.
We were in the room today when the news was delivered, and we will continue to stand by and support our members, and associated staff where possible, in every way that we can while they navigate through this challenging time.
As we have stated previously, it is clear that lessons must be learnt from this situation and as Wasps captain, Joe Launchbury said on Friday:
“Players must be at the table in decisions being made about the future of the game.”
