HASTA WORLD PARTNERS WITH THE RPA BECOMING ITS EXCLUSIVE GLOBAL SALES PARTNER AND KEY FUNDRAISER FOR RESTART RUGBY

Experiential events and corporate wellbeing company, hasta World, has been appointed as the Rugby Players Association’s (RPA) exclusive worldwide sales partner. Continuing to strengthen its strong ties within the elite rugby community, hasta will also be pivotal in raising awareness and money for the RPA’s official charity, Restart Rugby.

Alongside an array of luxury and global brands, hasta World will be part of the RPA’s selected corporate partners. The RPA represents, and is the voice of, England’s professional rugby players with over 1200 current and former players on its roster. Tickets to a whole host of events such as The RPA Rugby Heroes Lunch with Sir Ian McGeechan OBE and The RPA Awards 2022 will be available to the wellbeing and events company’s clients and The RPA through hasta’s website www.hastaworld.com

Aligned in purpose and passion, hasta will be working closely with the RPA to raise awareness and vital funds for its official charity, Restart Rugby, aimed at providing financial, mental, and practical support and services for players and their families. In addition to having around-the-clock confidential counselling, Restart Rugby helps with the cost of surgeries and rehabilitation equipment, and also provides
crucial care for those who have become disabled as a consequence of the sport.

United in their central focus on wellbeing, hasta World and the RPA champion leadership and use experts in various fields to promote and share insights into topics such as mental health and how to deal with evolving and challenging environments. The Leadership Lunches, held at the Langham Hotel in London during the Lions Test Series, is one of many events in which hasta has harnessed the knowledge of elite stars to challenge business leaders to think differently about corporate wellbeing. The Leadership Lunches also raised money for Restart Rugby through ticket sales and an auction, with over £30,000 being generated so far.

Damian Hopley, Group CEO at the RPA, commented on the partnership: "We could not have picked a more forward-thinking company. Partnering with hasta is an excellent strategic choice, with their vast connections in the corporate community, and we also share values and are aligned in purpose and goal, as caring for people is at the heart of what both organisations do."

CCO at hasta World, Rob Fee, said, "Being the exclusive worldwide sales partner of the RPA is a privilege and the start of a long and fruitful partnership for both parties. We are excited to be working with a thoughtful and purposeful organisation that mirrors everything we stand for; marrying wellbeing with the power and experience of leaders and experts underpins what we do every day. The charity Restart Rugby is a worthy cause and is vital for thousands of players and their families. It is something we are proud to support and will undoubtedly continue for years to come.”

The next opportunity where hasta will be supporting the Restart Rugby campaign will be the RPA Rugby Heroes Lunch with Sir Ian McGeechan on 10th November.
