The Rugby Players’ Association (RPA) is pleased to announce the nominations ahead of the RPA Awards 2024.

The star-studded event, held on Wednesday 29th May at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, is one of the most prestigious events in the rugby calendar and where all our winners and nominees will be celebrated.

Trevor Davison, Ben Earl, Courtney Lawes, Finn Russell and Fin Smith and will be fighting out for the RPA Men’s Players’ Player of the Season, with Smith also going up for RPA Men’s Young Player of the Season against Fin Baxter, Asher Opoku-Fordjour, Guy Pepper and Immanuel Feyi-Waboso.

Last year’s winner Natasha Hunt has been nominated again for the Premiership Women’s Rugby  Player of the Year, alongside Sarah Beckett, Evie Gallagher and Meg Jones.

Looking to the international game, Ben Earl, Jamie George & Courtney Lawes are nominated for the England Men’s Player of the Year in association with Advanta Wealth, whereas Zoe Aldcroft, Meg Jones, Ellie Killdunne and Alex Matthews are all nominated for the England Women’s Player of the Year in association with LexisNexis Risk Solutions.

Christian Day, General Secretary of the RPA, said: “The RPA Awards 2024 recognises outstanding performances from across the 2023-24 season. To be nominated by your peers, and particularly those that you play against, remains the greatest accolade for any rugby player. All our nominees have had standout seasons and we look forwards to finding out the winners on the night.”
