RPA Partners with Thrifty Car and Van rental

The Rugby Players Association (RPA) has today announced Thrifty Car & Van Rental as a Partner.

As many of our members return to their training schedules and working weeks, getting around safely has never been so important. We want to ensure they have access to the best vehicles from more than 100 locations nationwide, with a plethora of options from daily rentals, to flexible, long-term hire.

Gaia Bursell, RPA Head of Commercial, said: “It is very exciting to have Thrifty as an Official Partner of the Rugby Players Association. Our aim is to work with businesses who can directly benefit our membership and ease their day to day life and Thrifty's wide-range of locations and flexible hire options means our players can choose what works best for them at a time when safe travel is so important.”

Martin Wilson, Managing Director of Thrifty Car and Van Rental in the UK, said: “Thrifty Car & Van Rental are huge fans of the work the RPA undertakes for their playing and former playing members. With a shared passion for player welfare Thrifty are proud to partner with the RPA. Thrifty’s Flexifleet long-term rental product is a perfect fit for professional and ex-players providing a comprehensive range of vehicles, total flexibility and great value for money.   Thrifty support a range of charities including Doddie Weir’s MyName’5 Doddie Foundation and professional organisations including Exeter Chiefs. This partnership with the RPA further cements the company’s interest in supporting Rugby Union.”
