The Rugby Players Association (RPA) is proud to announce our new partnership with specialist foreign exchange consultants Elite FX.
The new three-year partnership with the RPA will not only include first-rate financial consultancy, but Elite FX will also be sponsoring an award at the annual RPA Awards as well as supporting our charity efforts with Restart.
Elite FX exists to help high profile sports players and business leaders to protect their money when moving it from one currency to another.
For rugby professionals playing overseas it is especially important that they cut out the risk of losing money because of market movements beyond their control. Elite FX has created a strategy that gives peace of mind to each individual player. Their personal financial plan guarantees a favourable rate no matter what may be happening in the volatile world of currency exchange.
With more than 20 years' experience, the company's founder and Chief Executive Stuart Holmes leads an experienced team, who offer a personalised service to every client to ensure their best interests on a day to day basis.
Stuart Holmes, Chief Executive of Elite FX, welcomes the partnership with the RPA: "We see this as an ideal fit between the premier organisation that benefits rugby players and our currency service that is rooted in rugby and is supported by leading former players."
“We take the stress out of salaries. Players can concentrate on their sport knowing that we are protecting their money.”
Lawrence Dallaglio, former England rugby captain and an Elite FX Director said: “Most players just want to focus on their sport and too often lack expert help to navigate the markets, making them vulnerable to negative movements. With Elite FX on your side you can make sure your money is protected.”
RPA Head of Commercial Gaia Bursell, said: “We are excited to partner with Elite FX as our exclusive foreign exchange partner for the next three years.
Both Lawrence and Stuart are familiar with the workings of the RPA and we are looking forward to developing our relationship with them across our financial management programme. Creating viable and safe options for our players is at the forefront of what we do and we look forward to our members reaping the benefits of this partnership."
