Young Chiefs cook up a treat

By Mark Stevens (Exeter Chiefs - http://exeterchiefs.co.uk/) Members of the Exeter Chiefs Academy have been honing their culinary skills of late thanks to the help of the Rugby Players’ Association.

As part of the RPA Personal Development Programme (PDP), the group have been taking part in a four-week cooking course at Exeter College’s 34 Restaurant. Working under the expert eye of chef Matt Pickett, the players are not only learning basic cooking skills, but also about food nutrition and hygiene. “I’m really enjoying learning how to cook some new recipes,” said Max Bodilly. “Obviously it’s good fun cooking alongside your mates, but there is also a serious side to it all as we are learning about how to get the best out of the healthy ingredients we are using.” https://twitter.com/ExeterChiefs/status/828972952863522816 https://twitter.com/theRPA/status/828979044586762240
