The Rugby Players’ Association (RPA) recently teamed up with Nine Feet Tall to host a Worcester Warriors personal development session on business start-up planning.
The session, held at Sixways Stadium, was organised as part of the RPA’s Personal Development Programme (PDP), aimed to individually support and guide players with their personal and professional development.
Nine Feet Tall are an award winning business consultancy specialising in project delivery and believe in making business simple and not using jargon for jargon’s sake.
Nine Feet Tall Partner, Huw Jones, led the interactive session which covered individual business goals, skills for business success and an introductory guide to business planning – the why, how, what and when to develop and maintain beneficial plans for business success.
John Millington, RPA Personal Development Manager for Worcester Warriors, said: “One of our aims at the RPA is to open players’ eyes to things they need to think about for their future post-rugby and to enable them to put plans in place now as part of their overall personal development. We look forward to working with external organisations like Nine Feet Tall to achieve this.”
