The Rugby Players’ Association (RPA) last night hosted a business networking evening for members of the Leicester Tigers’ squad, facilitated by employee engagement consultancy, Purple Monster, and hosted at The Exchange, Leicester.
The evening was organised as part of the RPA’s Player Development Programme (PDP) which is designed to individually support and assist its members in their personal and professional development and provide them with the skills needed to make a successful transition into life after rugby.
Purple Monster help organisations around the world to involve their employees in change and offered to help facilitate the evening to give Tigers’ players the opportunity to enhance their network of business contacts within local industries.
Leicester Tigers’ full-back and RPA Player Representative, Scott Hamilton, said: “The event has been a fantastic experience and has allowed the boys to meet an entirely new network of contacts that could potentially help when it comes to looking at career options away from rugby. I’d like to say thank you on behalf of the squad to the RPA and Purple Monster for putting together an extremely beneficial evening.
