The O2 England Women's Player of the Year 2018 Nominees

Congratulations to our three nominees for the O2 England Women's Player of the Year Award!    Katy Daley-Mclean: “It’s a massive honour to nominated for this award, rugby is obviously a team sport and to have the respect and recognition from your peers on an individual level is very exciting and a fantastic feeling. Knowing the girls have put my name in the mix for this award is hugely humbling and makes me extremely thankful for their support.”   Tamara Taylor: “To be nominated by your teammates is the biggest accolade any player can have and I am over the moon to be shortlisted for this award. It’s a very special feeling to have the support of my teammates and I’m very proud to finish the season with such a terrific recognition.”   Danielle Waterman: “It’s the biggest honour for any player to be nominated for an award by your teammates because they are the ones who see first-hand the work you put in for the team off the pitch. I extremely humbled to be recognised in this way.”   The O2 England Women's Player of the Year Award is presented to the outstanding women's player from the 2017-18 season, as voted by the England Women's Elite Playing Squad.
