A sunbathed Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club played host to the 2015 RPA Rugby Masters in association with ProSport Insurance.
A range of players from both past and present graced the fairways including Hugo Southwell, Karl Dickson, Andrew Fenby, Shaun Perry, Paul Burke and Miles Mantella.
After a fiercely contested day of golf the four ball competition was won by ProSport Insurance and former Harlequins and Ireland fly-half Paul Burke, while former Wasps and Scotland International Huge Southwell completed an impressive performance throughout the day to be crowned the overall individual champion.
Competition was rife not only for the main competition but also for the prestigious title of longest drive and nearest the pin. Aviva Premiership referee, JP Doyle, claimed the highly anticipated longest drive title with a tremendous strike while Rob Long from Ricoh, reigned supreme in the nearest the pin competition.
Following the excellent day of golf, guests raised a glass to the winners with a post-round barbeque lunch and complimentary drinks.
The event was attended by a number of the RPA’s official partners including ProSport Insurance, Affinion International, Siemens Financial Services, HSBC and Macfarlanes LLP.
Many thanks to ProSport Insurance, the title sponsor of the RPA Rugby Masters, whose support made the day possible.
