Rugby Expo is delighted to confirm the Rugby Players’ Association (RPA) as an official supporter of Rugby Expo 2015, reaffirming the event’s standing as THE meeting place for anyone involved in the business and development of rugby.

The Rugby Players’ Association is the representative body of professional rugby players in England, working to promote and protect the interests of elite rugby players across domestic and international competitions.

The partnership between the two organisations will see the RPA’s founder and Group CEO Damian Hopley join the panel discussing the future of club rugby as part of the Vision 2023 main stage session on day one of Rugby Expo 2015. As a former Wasps & England player for and a 1993 RWC Sevens winner, Hopley launched the RPA in 1998 and he will draw on his extensive experience within the sport and be a key voice in the Vision 2023 debate.

As an official supporter of Rugby Expo 2015, the RPA will be offering every staff member and RPA alumni and current members free delegate passes to gain entrance to both days of Rugby Expo. The RPA will also provide further support via its marketing channels to promote the two day event.

Speaking on the RPA’s involvement at Rugby Expo, Damian Hopley said: “Rugby Expo is a great opportunity for us to not only provide further value back to our members, but to also support the pro game discussions and to share the wider thoughts and opinions on behalf of our current and former members. Rugby Expo is a premium networking opportunity for anyone involved in the sport and we look forward to a busy two days at Twickenham next month.”
