The Rugby Players’ Association (RPA) today announced prestigious Argentine steak restaurant Gaucho as their Official Restaurant Partner.

The new partnership agreement comes as the RPA relaunches its Rugby Heroes Dinner series with a new look and feel.  Gaucho, Piccadilly will host the two exclusive dinners which will coincide with England’s summer tour to Australia and England’s match against Argentina in the 2016 Old Mutual Wealth Series (Autumn Internationals). Guests will be treated to tales from legends of the game whilst enjoying a 3-course meal and some of Argentina’s finest wines from Gaucho’s award winning menu.

RPA members will also be treated to a VIP service and unique discount across a large number of selected Gaucho restaurants.

Matt Ford, Head of Marketing for Gaucho, said: “Partnering with the RPA will give Gaucho the opportunity to further strengthen our relationship with players around the country. We’re extremely excited to be relaunching the RPA Rugby Heroes Dinner and look forward to hosting the RPA’s guests, partners and players.”

RPA Head of Commercial, Georgina Morgan, said: “We’re very proud to be welcoming a brand of Gaucho’s calibre to the RPA family, and relish the opportunity to work closely with such a fantastic partner to deliver our Rugby Heroes Dinner Series.  This is a hugely exciting time for the RPA commercial programme and with the addition of Gaucho, 2016 looks set to be another successful year.”
