With the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals fast approaching, the Rugby Players’ Association (RPA) hosted its annual RPA TAG Heuer Rugby Heroes Dinner at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London, raising over £20,000 for Restart Rugby, The Players’ Charity.

The evening, hosted by RPA Group CEO, Damian Hopley, featured special guests and Rugby World Cup winners, Lawrence Dallaglio and Joel Stransky.

The pair spoke about their own unique experiences of winning the famous Web Ellis Cup, their thoughts on the 2015 tournament so far and their predictions for the knock-out stages.

The audience of over 200 guests enjoyed a Champagne Bollinger reception, a tremendous three course meal in the Grand Hall, accompanied by Yealands fine wines, and an auction which raised valuable funds for Restart Rugby.

Damian Hopley, Group CEO of The Rugby Players’ Association, said: “Tonight was a very special event and our thanks go to Lawrence & Joel as well as TAG Heuer and all our RPA partners for their outstanding support and generosity. Restart Rugby provides such important support for our players who have suffered serious injury, illness or hardship.”

Our thanks go to our title sponsor TAG Heuer and RPA partners, Champagne Bollinger, Yealands and LG for their continued support of the RPA and for making this event possible.
